I agree with you, a open mind is the key to knowledge. When you allow others to share with you their opinions and you to share yours with out discrimination, judgement and disrespect. Hearing other people's views, opinions and ways of life is a freeing and amazing experience. Because when we can learn to accept, respect and understand others peace, love and tolerance will become more then a possibility, but a reality. You are a great person to share this belief I admire and encourage this in you.
Though may I ask are you for or against war, and are you for world peace? I'm just curious to know if this is just a song inspired photo or if you agree and stand firm on a belief in it.
As for Marijuana, I say legalize the greens! I personally will enjoy a bowl or joint every now and then, or indulge to help finish a paper for school or cope with some crap going on in my life. Ive also found that people who do smoke are more open minded, it really in a way does open your mind to new perceptions. Every one I know who does is a good deal smarter then others, and every great musician and artist for the most part, but there are many exceptions, enjoys weed. That and it is natural, and is good for a number of illnesses, disease and viruses, not to mention it does wonders for those who get migraines or body pains. And unlike alcohol, which dulls sensory skills and receptors it heightens them.
Long live the peace movement and hippie way of life!
Sorry didn't see this until just now!! First of all, thank you for this wonderful comment!! I am against war completely. I think it does more harm than good in most circumstances and usually only benefits a select group of people, while it is detrimental to the rest of the population. I do agree with a lot of what is said in the song, but not all of it. I agree with the major concept, that war is bad and is started and backed by major corporations and politicians.
To me, it is unconstitutional to criminalize marijuana. And it is more beneficial than harmful compared to legal drugs like cigarettes and alcohol. It is so benefincial in the medical industry and could replace all kinds of harmful drugs. (Which you can bet why it's still illegal under federal law) As well as the medical benefits, it could create jobs. It could open up a whole industry here in America, considering everything else is outsourced and our economy is terrible. It helped Amsterdam save its economy and thrive. I'm seeing Americans change their perspective on marijuana, and its on its way to becoming decriminalized completely. I don't think we are too far from seeing that a reality.
